What are you reading? (1)

It's Monday! What are you reading this week? is a weekly event hosted by J. Kaye's Book Blog to celebrate what we are reading for the week as well as books completed the previous week.

After reading this post you'll see I'm still a lazy reader compared to the others bloggers.

Books I Finished Last Week:

The Apprentice (Jane Rizzoli and Maura Isles Series #2) by Tess Gerritsen - Writing my review pretty soon. This series is the most amazing I've ever ever read in my whole life!
Shadowland (The Mediator #1) by Meg Cabot

Books I'm Currently Reading:

Fallen by Lauren Kate - Almost done with it and it's pretty amazing. Going to write my review soon.
City of Bones (The Mortal Instruments #1) by Cassandra Clare - Actually, I've only read the first chapter and I don't think I'll be done with it this week... Let's see.

Books I've Put Down For a While:

Violetas na Janela by Patrícia/Vera Lúcia Marinzeck de Carvalho (Brazilian medium) - I started reading this book a few years ago, but didn't finish it because the book wasn't mine, it was my aunt's and she was still reading it. I was on vacation and had to come back home before finish it. Now I borrowed the same book from a friend and I'm hoping to finish it as soon as possible.
Dom Casmurro by Machado de Assis (Brazilian writer) - Now I'm going to have to read it for school.

Books I Definitely Gave Up On:

None... For a while.

Upcoming Reads:

The Memory Keeper's Daughter by Kim Edwards
O Senhor da Chuva by André Vianco (Brazilian writer)
Once A Witch by Carolyn MacCullough - I wish I had my own copy of the book, which, if I like it, I will buy someday.
Darkly Dreaming Dexter by Jeff Lindsay - I borrowed this one from my brother, who watches the Dexter TV series and loves it. I don't know what to expect about this book.

Books I Still Need to Write Reviews On:

The Apprentice (Jane Rizzoli and Maura Isles Series #2) by Tess Gerritsen
Evermore (The Immortals #1) by Alyson Nöel
Bluemoon (The Immortals #2) by Alyson Nöel
Shadowland (The Immortals #3) by Alyson Nöel
The Lost Symbol by Dan Brown
The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan
Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick - I read this one in November 2009 and I still don't know wheter I write a review or not.

  5. Darkly Dreaming Dexter was an incredible read! I stumbled across the TV series on the internet and watched through the entire first season (which was the only available at the time) before getting the book out of the library. I don't think I set Dexter down even once and that in itsself is a chore for me. (I can walk away from ANY book.) Good luck reading!
