Taking Notes (Part I)

Yesterday, on my last post, I prepared a super special survey form and asked you to fill it out. With the answers I get, I am and will be trying to improve my blog posting what YOU enjoy to read, what YOU suggest me. And after reading about 15 answered forms, I took some notes I would like to expose here. But, yeah, these were only 15 forms examined, so if you have not filled the survey form yet, go HERE and do it, please! It is important for the improvement of my blog and for your own enjoyment with it.

The first topic I would like to discuss with you is about me posting in two languages (English and Portuguese) and somehow, sometimes, forgetting or kind of neglecting one of them. When I decided to post this way, all I intended was getting a wider public, was to attract more readers to my blog. I did not measure how difficult it was, especially because of the time. Sometimes I write something to post, and it is ready to be posted, but then I am interrupted by another activity schedule outside and I cannot translate to the other language, and publish/post it immediately. It is something that I have to be careful with, it is something that I cannot promess I will do everytime I post, even though I will try as much as I can. Sincerely. Really.

Second, almost everybody who answered the survey also asked for more, more, more reviews. Well, this is what I cannot REALLY promess or be sure that I will accomplish, that I will improve as much as you want. Reading is not one of the faster things I can do, I am such a slow reader, and I have been telling you that for forever. It is something I wish I improved so much better, though. And for your happiness, I am now almost at the end of a new book, another one by Tess Gerritsen, and I will be probably reviewing it on Friday or on the weekend. By the way, I better post it in both English and Portuguese, too? Please, tell me how you want me to post it.

Third and last of Taking Notes - Part I, interactive and personal posts. That is another suggestion I have seen the most on the form. And when I saw it I was like... "What do they mean by interactive and personal posts?". One of them, which I am super grateful for, put an example: "Why don't you post about books you did not like at all?" and so I wrote on my notes "Write about books you do NOT like, Raíla!". And then now I am feeling super empty of ideas. That stated, please, give me some ideas. What would YOU like me to post about? Suggest topics you would enjoy to read about, people. This way we both be happy, right? Hope so.

Also, it made me so even more much HAPPIER to realize that almost all of these 15 people - who have already filled out the form - have bought/read a book recommended by me and that they enjoy to read my reviews. THIS is what make me fulfilled and one of the reasons I am still up here. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

PORTUGUESE

Ontem, no meu último post, preparei um formulário de pesquisa super especial e pedi que vocês o preenchessem, certo? Com as respostas que recebo, estou e estarei tentando melhorar o blog, postando sobre o que vocês gostam de ler, o que vocês me sugerem. E depois de ler cerca de 15 formulários respondidos, tomei algumas anotações que gostaria de expor aqui. Mas, sim, esses foram apenas 15 formulários analisados, por isso, se você ainda não tiver preenchido o formulário de pesquisa, vá AQUI e preencha-o, por favor! É importante para a melhoria do blog e para seu próprio, digamos, "divertimento".

O primeiro tópico que eu gostaria de discutir com vocês é sobre eu estar postando, simultaneamente, em duas línguas (Inglês e Português) e de alguma forma, às vezes, esquecendo ou "negligenciando" uma deles. Quando decidi postar desta forma, tudo o que eu pretendia era conseguir um público mais amplo, atrair mais leitores para o meu blog. Não medi o quanto era difícil, especialmente por causa do tempo. Às vezes, escrevo algum post e ele pode até já estar pronto para ser publicado, mas então sou interrompida por uma obrigação exterior a isso. E, consequentemente, posso nem ter tempo para traduzí-lo para outra língua e postá-lo imediatamente. É algo com que tenho que ter cuidado, é algo que eu não posso prometer que vai acontecer sempre; vou, no entato, tentar ao máximo! Atenciosamente. Realmente.

Segundo: quase todos que responderam à pesquisa também pediram por mais, mais e mais resenhas. Bem, isso é o que eu não posso, de fato, prometer ou ter certeza que vou realizar, que vou melhorar tanto quanto vocês quiserem. A leitura não é uma das coisas consigo fazer extremamente rápido, sou uma leitora SUPER lenta, e tenho dito SEMPRE. (risos) Na verdade, talvez, se eu me dedicasse mais, eu conseguiria ler mais rápido. Mas, às vezes, é muito difícil me concentrar em algo, sabe? É algo que eu gostaria de melhorar muito, muito mais, apesar de tudo. E para felicidade de vocês, estou quase no final de um outro livro, outro escrito pela Tess Gerritsen, e provavelmente resenhá-lo-ei (ADOGO mesóclise!) na sexta-feira ou no fim de semana. By the way, é melhor postá-lo em Inglês e Português, também? Por favor, me digam como vocês querem que eu poste.

Terceira e última do Taking Notes - Parte I: posts interativos e pessoais. Essa é outra sugestão que eu tenho visto em quase todos os formulários. E quando vi, fiquei, tipo: "O que eles querem dizer com interativos e pessoais?". Um deles tinha um exemplo: "Por que não postar sobre os livros que você não gosta, afinal?". E assim fiz minhas anotações :"Escreva sobre livros que você não gosta, Raíla!". E, então, agora estou me sentindo super vazia de ideias. Dito isso, por favor, me deem algumas idéias. O que vocês gostariam que falasse sobre? Sugiram tópicos/temas os quais vocês acham que gostariam de ler sobre, pessoas! Desta forma, todos nós seremos felizes, certo? Espero que sim.

Além disso, fiquei muito mais feliz por perceber que quase todas essas 15 pessoas que já preencheram o formulário já compraram ou leram um livro recomendado por mim e que realmente gostam de ler minhas resenhas. ISSO é o que me faz satisfeita, é um das razões pelas quais ainda sigo com o blog. MUITO OBRIGADA!
