In My Mailbox (5)

In My Mailbox is hosted by The Story Siren.

Doing it as faster as I can so I will have time to study a little bit and do my homeworks. Then, I will come back to check blogs out, which I haven't done for a few days. So, I got two sequels of Percy Jackson, which I'm in love with and turned into a movie and is coming out on Friday (Brazil). Yeah, I'm excited! I also got the sequel of City of Bones - City of Ashes.

Percy Jackson’s seventh-grade year has been surprisingly quiet. Not a single monster has set foot on his New York prep-school campus. But when an innocent game of dodgeball among Percy and his classmates turns into a death match against an ugly gang of cannibal giants, things get... well, ugly. And the unexpected arrival of Percy’s friend Annabeth brings more bad news: the magical borders that protect Camp Half-Blood have been poisoned by a mysterious enemy, and unless a cure is found, the only safe haven for demigods will be destroyed.

City of Ashes (2008)
The Mortal Instruments #2

Author: Cassandra Clare
Publisher: McElderry
Format: Paperback

Clary Fray just wishes that her life would go back to normal. But what's normal when you're a demon-slaying Shadowhunter, your mother is in a magically induced coma, and you can suddenly see Downworlders like werewolves, vampires, and faeries? If Clary left the world of the Shadowhunters behind, it would mean more time with her best friend, Simon, who's becoming more than a friend. But the Shadowhunting world isn't ready to let her go -- especially her handsome, infuriating, newfound brother, Jace. And Clary's only chance to help her mother is to track down rogue Shadowhunter Valentine, who is probably insane, certainly evil -- and also her father.

To complicate matters, someone in New York City is murdering Downworlder children. Is Valentine behind the killings -- and if he is, what is he trying to do? When the second of the Mortal Instruments, the Soul-Sword, is stolen, the terrifying Inquisitor arrives to investigate and zooms right in on Jace. How can Clary stop Valentine if Jace is willing to betray everything he believes in to help their father?

  1. I have The Sea Monsters sitting right here. Contemplating whether to read before the movie or not. Just read MI #2 also, can't wait to hear what you think.
