Sharing Literary Feelings: Stephenie Meyer's Twilight Saga

I am not quite sure that I am the only one who feels this way about the Twilight Saga. The production is now back to shoot the first part of Breaking Dawn, and this has given me sad feelings. Nostalgia already, maybe. I just feel like writing something about it, so do not lose your time reading it if you do not really want to. I am not being rude, just... It is just some kind of a personal thing I feel like sharing about these novels and me.

I do recognize the books are not as hugely awesome as its fame. I do recognize the movies can be really bizarre sometimes. After reading and re-reading, after watching and re-watching, I do recognize many things. Even then, Twilight's story does not stop bringing me back to it. These books must have hypnotized me forever.

You know... I joke about it, but I respect it as much as I respect opinions of those who have read the books and do not like it. It must be criticized, of course, but mostly respected. Because it is somebody's creation, somebody's feelings turned on stories, somebody's ideas. And even if it is not a literarily huge "work of art" for some, it surely means and represents something important to others.

I am not an
Edward's crazy-in-love fangirl. I do not think vampires are the most amazing thing ever. I do not want them to bite me. I do not like the wolf guys because they have such strong and nice abs. I have no reason to admire, love and still enjoy the Twilight Saga. But I do. I do even have all the Twilight Saga's movie posters on my wall. Feel free to laugh about it.

You know when you try to kind of dislike something, but you just can't? When it just does not let you go even if you pass a long time trying not to even think about it or look for it? You just can't. It happens to me a lot, especially between me and Stephenie Meyer's Twilight Saga.

(And, yes, I am a fan of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. And only not because of this.)

Feel like sharing feelings too? Please, feel free to comment about it as well.
