Help A Charity is a fundraiser event, a way that Jillian, from Random Ramblings, in the first place, found to help those who need. Then Linna, from 21 Pages, and I joined her. We are trying since August 1st to come up with as much monetary donation as possible to give to two charities: First Book and Save The Children.
All you have to do is donate at least $0.50 or $1, and you will be automatically entered to our BIG giveaway. So far, we have gotten about $220, but we and they still need your help. Remember! It ends on OCTOBER 31st.
First Book: provides new books to children in need addressing one of the most important factors affecting literacy, access to books.
Save the Children: the leading independent organization creating lasting change in the lives of children in need around the world. Recognized for our commitment to accountability, innovation and collaboration, our work takes us into the heart of communities, where we help children and families help themselves.
